The new Cisco T3/E3 ATM Network Module (NM-1A-T3/E3) is now available for the Cisco ISR 2800, 3800 and 3900 Series Routers that provide ATM WAN connectivity for enterprise regional and branch office connectivity. This combined T3/E3 ATM network module provides an ATM connection of either 44 Mbps for DS3/T3, or 34 Mbps for E3 using standard 75-ohm BNC connectors. Support is provided for ATM Forum compliant framing standard AAL5, as well as ATM Traffic Management support for Unspecified Bit Rate (UBR), UBR+ (For SVC's only), Variable Bit Rate real-time (VBR-rt), Variable Bit Rate non-real time (VBR-nrt), Constant Bit Rate (CBR), and Available Bit Rate (ABR) classes of traffic.

Cisco's Packet-over-T3/E3 network module for the Cisco 2600, 3600, and 3700 series offers the first software-configurable T3/E3 product from Cisco. This flexible network module allows the customer to switch between T3 and E3 applications with a single Cisco IOS command. This feature provides customers with unparalleled investment protection by allowing the service provider or enterprise customer to stock only a single product that can be deployed internationally.

This 6-port FXO voice and fax expansion module provides off-premises connection to the central office. This module supports FXO power failover. If power to the router fails, this feature helps enable a direct metallic path between an FXO port and a special "red" telephone to provide a direct line to the PSTN.

Cisco Catalyst 4500-X Series provides scalable, fixed-campus aggregation solutions in space-constrained environments. The solution provides flexibility to build desired port density through two versions of base switches along with optional network module, providing line-rate 10GE capability. Both the 32-port and 16-port versions can be configured with optional network modules and offer similar features. The Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus (SFP+) interface supports both 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing customers to use their investment in 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP and upgrade to 10 Gigabit Ethernet when business demands change, without having to do a comprehensive upgrade of the existing deployment. The uplink module is hot swappable.

The Cisco IP Communications voice/fax network modules provide enterprises, managed service providers, and service providers the ability to directly connect the public switched telephone network (PSTN) and traditional telephony equipment to existing Cisco 2600XM Series, Cisco 2691, 3640, and 3660, and Cisco 3700 Series voice gateway routers. This set of Cisco IP Communications voice/fax network modules delivers the most versatile combination of analog and digital voice and data capabilities in a single network module.
